In this class, we will focus on elevating ourselves out of the prone position and shooting from non-traditional positions using various props, vehicles, etc. We will also explore shooting with and from a tripod, as it has become a very useful tool in long range shooting.
If you have an interest in Precision Rifle Series competitions, this would be the class for you. We will run mock stages and discuss stage prep as well. You will be able to use your included loaner Kestrel 5700 Elite to setup custom target cards for these stages.
Students should be familiar with their rifle setup but our GroundWork class is not a prerequisite.
Our class format will be held over 2.5 days. We do this to cover classroom material while not taking away from range time on Saturday and Sunday. Round count is approximately 300 rounds but we always recommend bringing more.
